The Company, via its Daikin Applied business, is a worldwide manufacturer and marketer of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, services and solutions. Daikin Applied (formerly McQuay International) manufactures technologically advanced commercial HVAC systems for performance, reliability and energy efficiency and has an extensive history of developing new, industry leading innovations and technology. The Company also manufactures and sells refrigeration products under the J&E Hall™ brand name. The Company’s air filtration products and systems are manufactured and sold under the AAF International® and AmericanAirFilter® brand names to commercial, institutional, and industrial customers for varied applications including the highest efficiency filters used in the most stringent clean environments. Under the Daikin brand name, the Company is also engaged in the manufacturing, importing and sales of fluoropolymers and other chemicals to a wide range of industrial customers, including those in the electronics, automotive, and textile industries.
